Also, mourning her passing sister-in-law, Joann Harrigan, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Her cherished Maryland cousins, Doris and Dottie and their families and her special West Virginia Family, Pastor Garrett Bostic, Kelsey and Arielle. Terry was known for her generous spirit and love of life. After the early passing of her husband, she carried on with grace and dedication to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Setting an example of resilience and perseverance, she graduated from college earning her degree, with summa cum laude honors and RN credential at age 52. Her staff, patients and their families benefited from her commitment to honoring the diversity and dignity of each person she encountered. Terry retired from Francis House after 20 years of dedicated service. In addition to family times, Theresa loved travel, sports, and games. She instilled in her children the love of a good road trip and many ways to pass the time from songs (A 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall) to 20 Questions. We know family will continue THIS legacy. Her love of sports and competitive nature may have come from her high school years and having the rare designation at that time of ‘Three Sport Varsity Athlete’. Terry was a die-hard Yankee and Bills Fan. Her Memorial Gathering will have exclusive photo’s of her at Yankee games AND lip-locking Bernie Williams when she met him. Counted among her multitude of blessings and joys were the many grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called her ‘Gammy’. She could be counted on to be ‘the life of the party’ playing games, cards, and sharing casino wins. This mom, grandma, and great grandma lead the conga dance line for ‘Proud Mary’ at family weddings, even in later years with her walker. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. Terry sang ‘H-A-R-R-I-G-A-N’ loud and proud the day before she passed into eternal happiness. This was just one way she instilled in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to be proud of who you are and where you are from. From humble beginnings, she rose to every occasion with a quiet determination and unwavering resolve to rise above any tragedy or setback. Her family is taking great solace knowing that each of them have that same strength within them, to pull from, when they need it. Her philosophy to celebrate in good times and persevere through bad times will be carried on.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Theresa Eisenhauer, please visit Tribute Store
