Frederick L. Cole, Jr., 81, passed away on July 7 after a courageous battle with cancer. Fred leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Kathleen (McNeela), and their three daughters: Colleen Halverson (Richard), Erin Cole (Vladislav Galkin), and Kathleen Cole. Fred was a loving grandfather to Evan and Allie Halverson. He also leaves behind his sister, Winifred Hoare (late Michael), Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Winifred Cole, and his brother William (Elaine). Fred was a successful food broker and a U.S. Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Buffalo. Visitation will be at Shepard Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday, July 10 from 4 to 8 PM.
