KAY - Richard P. October 31, 2022 Loving husband of Mary Whitcomb; dear father of Amy (Chris) Ford and Lori Kay; proud grandfather of Christopher Ford Jr. and Jillian Ford; son of the late Robert and Helen (nee Fizer) Kay; companion and cat Lucy. Visitation Friday, November 4th, 4-7pm at the SHEPARD BROS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE LLC, 2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew (same location as Pacer Funeral Home). Funeral Service at Clarence Presbyterian Church, 9675 Main St., Clarence, Saturday, 2pm. Please assemble at Church. Richard was a Master Machine Mechanic retired from Conax Buffalo. He was a local NASCAR Official, writing articles on races at Holland Speedway for Bee Publications for years. Richard particularly loved his 1959 Corvette, red with white coves. In retirement, he built a wood shop, focusing on ash boxes for pets initially, and many other things. He and his beloved wife spent many enjoyable winters in the southwest.
