October 4, 1935-March 13, 2023; beloved husband of Joan (nee Bealer) and the late Eleanor (nee Joseph); dear father of Carl, Rebecca (William) Deer and Gregory (Lynda) Kraft; adored grandpa of Jamie, Joseph, Ryan, Naomi, Sara, Megan and Noah; son of the late Joseph and Pauline (nee Grimmelt) Krafft; brother of Theresa Johnson and Cletus (late Jean) Kraft; predeceased by siblings Albert, Walter, Germaine, Dorothy, Richard, Marietta, Eugene, Irene, and Raymond Krafft; also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation Friday 3-7 PM at the former SHEPARD BROS. FUNERAL HOME (Fieldstone Church) 10690 Main St., Clarence. A celebration of life will take place at Northgate Church, 5225 Harris Hill Rd., Clarence, Saturday at 1 PM. Please assemble at church. Ferdie was a US Army veteran. He was known for being a chef at the Old Red Mill and Transit Valley Country Club. He was a jack of all trades including moving 2 houses. Ferdie helped out at Resurrection Life food pantry.
